The Problem
The telecommunication price wars create a confusing environment for selecting DSL service and widening digital gap in urban areas.
The Solution
Developed the ‘Realize’ campaign, based on the truth about the internet spurring the entrepreneurial spirit of the target. We found current Verizon DSL customers to highlight how Verizon DSL helps ‘realize’ your dreams. This campaign included radio, out of home, fsi’s, door hanger, print, online, events, and public relations. The the print and ooh portion of campaign rolled out first as a teaser ad followed up in the same ad placement with a correlating ad that finished each ‘realize’ story.
The Results
Sales 3xs than planned, 1.5+ billion media impressions, Verizon awarded Ad Age Marketer of the Year, and agency awarded an Ad Age Agency of the Year.
